Pressure Reducing Valve (for Water)

Overview

The pressure reducing valve is a specialized automatic device for reducing the working pressure of a pipeline. It can decrease the higher water pressure in the pipeline before the valve to the level required by the pipeline after the valve. Pressure reducing valves are widely used in high-rise buildings to ensure that each water usage point in the water supply system receives appropriate service water pressure and flow rate. Since the rate of water loss and waste is almost proportional to the water pressure in the water supply system, pressure reducing wolves have the potential to improve system operating conditions and save water.
